What is Online Reputation Management?
Two aspects:

· Monitoring Google for negative press articles, blogs, social media, forum posts, and other websites, and taking immediate action to bury negative items onto page two where they will hardly ever be seen.

· Listen, identify, strategise, engage and measure social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, blogs forums etc

Who needs Online Reputation Management?

Every football club, player, business and professional. We all rely on the trust in our brand. Once there is a question mark about that, our customers and clients can disappear overnight.

What are the risks of not having an ORM campaign?

These are very high.

§ Reputation directly affects income.

§ Negative news items and anonymous blog and forum posts are appearing all the time, and possibly showing up in a search on your name in Google

What did Benjamin Franklin say about this?

“It takes many good deeds to build a good reputation, and only one bad one to lose it”

But we already have a marketing budget which has been allocated for advertising and other promotions

Think again. Reputation management is MUCH more important than spending money on general marketing, and the sooner you realise that, the better.

Is ORM becoming more important all the time?

Yes. Today, clubs and players are losing control of their brand,. In the past, media sources were relatively few, but recently with the explosion of Twitter, Facebook, blogging, forums and other social networking and review sites almost everything we do is on display, and everyone feels they have a right to pass judgement.

What if there is already a negative site on the first page of Google?

We devise a strategy to quickly push that site down to the second page of Google using state of the art search engine optimisation techniques.
